Idea to help new players

I've been thinking about game play a bit and given how challenging this server is (challenging is good), I think it would be helpful if new players got a small bonus to start off with. I was thinking that new players to start off with VIP time, Pc Cafe points, W-coins and MU-gold. It does not have to be much, but just enough to get help them overcome the some of the difficulties of starting fresh. When IncubuS gave out the compensation a while back, it was extremely helpful for me as a low RR player. The bonus given does not have to be that much, but enough to get them started. I added MU-gold in there too because there are some functions like resetting-stats that might be needed, but should not have to be paid for. I?ve always thought that games should start off easy and get progressively harder as you keep playing. But in a server with resets, it is actually the opposite. By making it a little bit easier for new players, I feel it could help balance things out.

Of course fixing of all the bugs takes top priority. This is just something I thought might help once the server is out of the beta/bug-fixing stage.

Because this is a reset server it does not work like that. It is suppose to be hard in the begging but after 10-20 resets it become much easier.

About W-Coin or PC Point, some members will just make new character and purchase items and then delete the character so that is a no.

Yes, that is a valid concern. Abuse/taking advantage of the system is never a good thing; I can understand and I agree with that. That's why I was thinking the bonus should be small. It should not be enough to buy anything of real in-game value.

An example would be maybe 50 or 100 pc points to start with. You can't buy much with that, but if you were to save up a little bit more, that person could buy a feather to make wings. For W-coins, it could be 50 or 100. It is not enough to buy anything yet, but with a little time and effort, it will be. This way making a new account for the purpose of using the w-coins/pc-points would be pretty much useless unless some time and effort is put into it.

In any case, I won't dwell about it too much xD. It's just something I had on my mind and thought I would share. Take it or leave it, it's all good by me =)
